Yango Group takes a stake in Trukkr in its first Pakistan investment
The Dubai based technology company's $20 million venture arm has bought an undisclosed stake in the Karachi logistics lender.

Trukkr said on 8 August 2025 that Yango Group had acquired a stake in the company through Yango Ventures, the Dubai based group's $20 million corporate venture fund. It is Yango's first investment in Pakistan. Neither side disclosed the size of the stake or the sum paid, according to reports in Arab News, Business Recorder and ProPakistani.
The Karachi company, founded in 2019, provides a transport management platform to small and medium trucking firms and lends them working capital and fleet financing under a non banking finance company licence from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Its credit decisions run on an in house engine it calls Prism. Trukkr said it serves more than 20,000 drivers and more than 100 enterprise clients in a logistics market it values at $35 billion.
“Pakistan's logistics sector is full of potential, and Trukkr is helping move it forward.”
Chief executive Sheryar Bawany said Yango's experience building logistics technology in more than 30 countries would help Trukkr strengthen its offering in Pakistan and beyond. The company said the capital would fund expansion, better credit scoring and wider financial access for unbanked trucking businesses, and that Yango would also contribute product expertise. Startup.pk later reported the overall raise at close to $10 million in equity and debt, a figure the magazine could not verify elsewhere.
