About The Frontier Edit

A magazine about the people, companies and ideas building Pakistan’s technology industry.

Pakistan’s technology industry has founders, engineers and executives whose work deserves a serious record. Too often that record is a press release, a LinkedIn post or a listicle. The Frontier Edit exists to write it properly: reported profiles, startup stories, news that checks its numbers, and a yearly list that people are proud to be on. Every figure is attributed to a public source, and we do not invent quotes.

What we publish

Interviews are long conversations with the people running companies, edited for length and never for flattery. Profiles are reported pieces about one person: how they got here and what they are betting on. News covers funding, launches, hires and policy. Startup stories explain how a young company found its customers and its footing.

The Frontier List is published once a year. It names the people whose work changed what the industry can do, judged by editors who cannot be paid to include anyone. Our editorial standards explain how.

Who makes it

  • The Frontier Edit editors, editorial team. The editorial team reports from public filings, company announcements, interviews given to other outlets and the press. Every figure in a story is attributed to its source, and corrections are noted on the story.

How we pay for it

Readers, partners and events. Partner content is always marked as such, and partners never see a story, a list or a ranking before it is published. Nobody can pay to be interviewed, profiled or listed.
