Pakistani firms win 11 awards at ASOCIO digital and AI event in Jakarta
Winners range from a provincial IT board to AI companies in health, farming and finance, in a delegation led by the software houses association P@SHA.

Pakistani organisations took 11 awards at the ASOCIO Digital and AI Awards 2026, held in Jakarta on 6 October, according to P@SHA, the Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITES, as reported by ProPakistani and Geo News.
ASOCIO, the Asian Oceanian Computing Industry Organization, is a federation of ICT industry associations. Geo News said entrants came from 26 economies across Asia and Oceania, and the ceremony took place at the Swissotel Jakarta PIK Avenue.
Three of the wins were outside the AI categories. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board won the Digital Government award, Remire took Talent Development, and Symmetry Group Limited won Global Business Service.
The other eight were AI awards. SecureBeans won in cybersecurity and Planetbeyond Pakistan in AI for public good. CARE, the Centre for Advanced Research in Engineering, won in education, and DxVision AI in healthcare. Sybrid won in smart agriculture and Unikrew Solutions in financial services. Geekinn won in workforce and future skills, and SMART IS in manufacturing and supply chain.
What the delegation said
P@SHA sent a delegation led by its chairman, Dr Shoab A. Khan. Muhammad Zohaib Khan, a member of the P@SHA central executive committee and ASOCIO vice chairman, and Zain Tariq of P@SHA's special projects team also attended. Geo News said the three accepted the awards for Symmetry Group, SecureBeans and Geekinn on those companies' behalf.
Dr Khan called the results a milestone for Pakistan's IT sector, according to the reports. P@SHA said the wins showed the range of digital transformation work in the country and a growing base of applied AI in public services, education, healthcare, agriculture, finance and workforce development.
The reports did not explain how entries were judged or how many were received, and the information comes from P@SHA. Several of the winners are established software and services firms rather than young startups, so the list is best read as a sign of how Pakistan's wider tech sector is being recognised abroad.
Reported from P@SHA statements as carried by ProPakistani and Geo News.
