Daraz courts sellers and brands at two summits ahead of 11.11
The marketplace brought more than 1,200 merchants and brand representatives together in Karachi and Lahore. It was its first seller summit in three years.

Daraz Pakistan held two summits in October 2026 for the sellers and brands that supply its marketplace. The company said more than 1,200 sellers, brand representatives and industry stakeholders attended, as it prepared for its 11.11 sale.
The Daraz Seller Summit took place in Karachi. Daraz said it was the first such gathering in three years and drew more than 1,000 sellers. The first Daraz Brands Summit was held in Lahore, with representatives from 200 brands across electronics, fashion, beauty, FMCG and lifestyle.
Daraz Pakistan Managing Director Ben Yi said the events were about hearing more from merchants. In the company's release he said:
“These summits reflect our commitment to listening more closely to sellers and brands”
The company set out four priorities for the marketplace: speed, variety, quality and value. It said it will keep investing in technology, fulfilment, seller tools and platform improvements.
At the Seller Summit, discussions covered online operations, product selection, service quality and platform tools. Daraz also shared updates on operational efficiency, fulfilment and how competitive its marketplace is. The Brands Summit looked at product launches, customer acquisition, brand visibility, data driven insights and long term category growth.
Daraz said DarazMall now has about 1,500 verified brand stores. It also pointed to the technology and experience of Alibaba International Digital Commerce Group. The 11.11 sale was a major focus of both events, with the company sharing how sellers and brands can prepare.
For small merchants, the summits are a sign that the largest marketplace in the country is competing for supply as well as for shoppers. Sellers choose where to list based on fees, delivery and tools. The company gave no figures on seller numbers, fees or sales in its release.
