Daraz opens a licensed online pharmacy for customers across Pakistan
The ecommerce marketplace now sells over the counter medicines and health products from its own licensed pharmacy, with 450 products at launch and ten pharma partners signed.

Daraz Pakistan has launched an online pharmacy that serves customers nationwide, in a move that takes the marketplace deeper into healthcare. The company announced the service in August 2026, according to coverage on Startup Pakistan.
The pharmacy sells over the counter medicines, vitamins, supplements and everyday health products. At launch it lists more than 450 products from over 20 pharmaceutical and healthcare brands. Brands named in the coverage include Haleon, Getz Pharma, Abbott, AGP, Nature's Bounty, Route2Health and Searle.
Daraz said it runs the service from its own licensed pharmacy facility, which handles sourcing, storage and dispensing under regulatory rules. The medicines on sale are registered with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan and come through approved channels, the company said. Customers order through the Daraz app, and delivery takes one to three days in the cities Daraz currently serves.
To mark the launch, Daraz held what it called its first national conference on online pharmacy. Pharmaceutical executives, healthcare entrepreneurs, pharmacists and industry leaders attended. Panels looked at the future of the sector, digital healthcare, compliance and the changing role of the pharmacist. At the event Daraz also signed memorandums of understanding with ten pharmaceutical partners, covering medicine authenticity, digital access and responsible fulfilment. The partners were not named in the coverage.
“Customers should be able to access authentic medicines conveniently without compromising the professional oversight”
Medicines need more care than a parcel of clothes, and Daraz said it uses dedicated handling for them, including secure storage, careful packing and safe transport.
The launch puts a large marketplace into a field where Pakistani healthtech startups such as Dawaai have worked for years. Daraz said it plans to widen its range and partnerships over time.
